CADC TO DISTRIBUTE USDA COMMODITIES The food items to be distributed may include: Applesauce, Beef Stew, Black-eyed Peas, Canned Carrots, Corn Flakes, Concentrated Cranberry Juice, Fruit Mix, Green Beans, Peanut Butter, Peas, Dry Pinto Beans, Potato Flakes, Raisins, Refried Beans, UHT Milk, Vegetable Soup .

Benton and Bryant Senior Wellness and Activity Centers

Benton & Bryant, Ark. - Central Arkansas Development Council's Benton and Bryant Senior Centers have received designation from the Arkansas Department of Human Services/Division of Aging and Adult Services as an Arkansas Senior Wellness and Activity Center.

The centers have incorporated seven elements of wellness into their regularly scheduled programs and activities, including physical wellness, intellectual wellness, social wellness, environmental wellness, vocational wellness, spiritual wellness and emotional wellness.

2017 CADC Winter Regular LIHEAP Program

Central Arkansas Development Council
Central Arkansas Development Council announces that the CADC Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Assistance Program is scheduled to begin the week of January 9, 2017. CADC is the Community Action Agency in Lonoke, Pulaski, Saline, Hot Spring, Clark, Pike, Montgomery, Columbia, Union, Ouachita, Dallas and Calhoun counties in Arkansas. This utility assistance is a one time payment for a REGULAR heating bill and applications will be accepted as long as funds are available.

CADC Head Start Centers Ensures a Quality Education for Pre-Schoolers

CADC Head Start provides educational services for children ages 3-5 years old

Benton, Ark. – Central Arkansas Development Council's Head Start Centers are offered in five counties in Central Arkansas, including Saline, Pike, Clark, Montgomery and Hot Spring Counties.

Head Start is a comprehensive child development program focusing on increasing the school readiness of children ages 3 and 4 years of age. The program also seeks to help parents and caregivers be empowered to self-sufficiency.

The Community Assessment Survey collects information from individuals, families, volunteers, partners and many more about the current strengths, concerns and conditions of CADC's service area. Public and Medicaid Transportation

SCAT offers a wide range of low-cost transportation services to the general public. Our services are offered in 12 counties and are designed to provide transportation to and from rural areas that previously had little or no transit services. Transportation can include rides to and from medical facilities, shopping, personal needs, nutrition centers, work and much more.
