Gurdon, AR  - Central Arkansas Development Council Gurdon Senior Activity Center will host a Sunday Dinner Fundraiser, February 24, 2013, 11 am until 2 pm at the center, 410 East Main Street in Gurdon. The general public is invited to attend and enjoy visiting with friends and neighbors.

The dinner includes turkey and dressing, candied yams, English peas, cranberry sauce, rolls, Caribbean coconut cake, iced tea and coffee. The dinner is $7 per person, dine-in or carry-out.

The CADC Gurdon Senior Activity Center is located at 410 East Main Street. Donations to the center are tax deductible. All proceeds benefit the CADC Gurdon Senior Center Meals for Seniors program.

CADC Senior Activity Centers give older adults support and encouragement to reach new levels of independence, fostering educational and emotional wellness for persons 60 and older. Activities include exercise, social interaction, nutrition, transportation services, recreational events, book clubs, computer training, and more.

CADC is a private nonprofit community action agency that was formed in 1965 to fight and win the “War on Poverty.” The mission of CADC is to improve the quality of life and build strong communities in Arkansas.
