CADC Winter LIHEAP Program (Crisis Assistance) To End May 25, 2018

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (*Crisis Assistance) ends on May 25, 2018 and continues until funds are exhausted. This program provides eligible households with help in paying utility bills. The program pays benefits of fixed amounts based on household income.  Eligibility is based on annualized income and the number of members in the household.

*Crisis Program assistance requires a disconnect notice within 7 days of application date.


Below are the times and locations for applying for assistance:

Please be aware in some locations there may be a limited number of applications that can be accepted during these times, it is recommended you arrive early.  You may apply for assistance in any of the 19 Counties below in which CADC operates.

Calhoun County: Hampton: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted  on Monday, Tuesday from 8:30 am until 12pm, at the CADC office located at 210 South Lee Street in Hampton, AR  71174.

Clark County: Arkadelphia: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the CADC Senior Adult Center located at 1311 N 10th Street in Arkadelphia.

Columbia County: Magnolia: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday from 8 am until 12 pm at the CADC Office located at 1503 North Vine St. in Magnolia, AR  71754

Dallas County: Fordyce: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am until 12 pm at the CADC Office located at 410 E 4th Street in Fordyce.

Hempstead County: Hope: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Thursday’s from 8:30 am until 12 pm, at the First Baptist Church located at 315 South Main Street in Hope.

Howard County: Nashville: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Monday’s from 1 pm until 4 pm, at the CADC Office located at 103 West Shepherd in Nashville.

Hot Spring County: Malvern: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted in the CADC building located at 1735 E Sullenberger on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am until 12 pm.

Lafayette County: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday from 8 am until 12 pm at the CADC Office located at 1503 North Vine St. in Magnolia, AR  71754

 Little River County: Ashdown: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Wednesday’s from 8 am until 12 pm, at the Ashdown Methodist Church located at 145 East Commerce in Ashdown.

 Lonoke County: Lonoke: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am until 12 pm at the CADC Lonoke Office located at: 616 N. Center St in Lonoke, AR  72086.

Ward: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted by appointment only at the Ward Municipal Complex located at 405 Hickory Street in Ward, AR.

You must call the Lonoke CADC Office at 501-676-0019 to make an appointment.

Miller County: 

Texarkana:  : Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Tuesday’s from 8 am until 12 pm, at the Life House Outreach Ministry located at 915 East Street in Texarkana.

Montgomery County: Mt. Ida: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Wednesday’s only from 8 am until 11 am, at the CADC Mt Ida Senior Adult Center located at, 158 Senior Drive in Mt. Ida, AR  71957.

Nevada County: Prescott: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Wednesday’s from 8:30 am until 12 pm, at the Prescott County Office located at 118 West Elm Street in Prescott.

Ouachita County: Camden: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the CADC office located at 313 Jefferson in Camden, AR 71701 from 8 am until 12 pm (or until the first 30 people are signed in)

Pike County: Glenwood: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Tuesdays from 8 am until 12 pm at the CADC Senior Adult Center located at 229 Betty Street in Glenwood, AR  71943 

Murfreesboro.  Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted on Mondays from 8 am until 10 am at the Murfreesboro Senior Adult Center located at 120 East Court in Murfreesboro, AR  

Pulaski County: 

Little Rock:  Applications for assistance will be accepted on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am to 12 pm (or until the first 250 people are signed in) at the CADC office in the Little Rock Workforce Center located at 5401 S University in Little Rock, AR 72204. NO APPOINTMENTS, WALK-INS ONLY AT THIS LOCATION

Saline County: Benton: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am to 12 pm at the CADC Larry Cogburn Administration Building office located at 321 Edison in Benton, AR 72015.

Sevier County: DeQueen: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted Thursdays from 8 am until 12 pm, at the Dequeen Nazarene Church located at 129 West Locke Ave in Dequeen.

Union County: El Dorado: Crisis Winter LIHEAP applications will be accepted  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am until 12 pm,  at the CADC Office located at 1426 N. West Ave in El Dorado, AR  71730.


What To Bring When You Apply

  • Proof of Income for all household members 18 years and older from previous month.
  • State or government issued ID.
  • Social Security Numbers and Birthdates of every household member.
  • Copy of utility bills — gas, electric, and/or propane.
  • Proof of Social Security, SSI, Retirement, Pensions, Workman’s Comp, Disability, Unemployment, Foster Care Support, VA Benefit s and/or Utility Allowance.  All from the Previous month for any member of the household that receives benefit.
  • Knowledge of resources such as checking, savings, and other asset totals

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INCOME:

  • Zero Income Documentation Form must be completed along with verifiable contribution and/or collateral statements to show how bills have been paid.
  • Print-out of unemployment for all household members who are 18 years of age or older is required.

*Please be advised that you might be asked for further documentation at time of interview when submitting application.
