Living Life Fully at Senior Centers
CADC's Senior Activity Centers help senior adults live healthier, longer and independent lives.
The program serve as centers for learning, enrichment and empowerment. Participants go there for friendship, recreation, and to let their voices be heard. Senior Activity Centers are places for healthy lifestyles, offering exercise programs, dances, health screenings and meals that are nutrition conscious.
The centers, located in Malvern, Benton, Bryant, Glenwood, Mt. Ida, Gurdon, Arkadelphia and Murfreesboro, put an emphasis on "activity." The centers offer meals served in the center or delivered to the home, training and exercise programs, transportation and shopping services, telephone support and help with supportive services.
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities! Everyday brings a new adventure, a reason to smile. Services include congregate and home delivered meals, social interaction, telephone reassurance, transportation, wellness classes, exercise, nutrition and income utilization classes, AARP safe driving and defensive driving courses, daily brain and memory puzzles, field trips, birthday partie and other celebrations, and the weekly dance.
Life life to the fullest by becoming a senior center participant. Call CADC at 501-778-1133 or email Jannette Sanders firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
