Central Arkansas Development Council is a private, non-profit community action agency serving 12 counties in Central and South Arkansas. The mission of CADC is to improve the quality of life and build strong communities in Arkansas.
At CADC, low-income individuals and families are engaged in programs and services that improve their ability to become self-sufficient. CADC does this by promoting self-help opportunities through a broad network of programs and services.
Our efforts center on giving voice to the persons who want to make a better world for themselves. We offer a hand-up, and every person, every family, every community counts. They are the ones who know best their assets, their resources, and their possibilities. We are the ones who give them voice.
For over 40 years, CADC has delivered the promise of community action through a simple theme of people helping people. By fostering partnerships with public, private and nonprofit organizations, CADC aims to change the face of poverty in Arkansas.

More than 26,000 persons have joined CADC in innovative program activities, including
Nutrition,
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance,
Weatherization,
Public Transportation,
Community Participation,
Head Start,
Senior Activity Centers,
Individual Development Accounts,
Economic Literacy,
Free Income Tax Preparation, and other opportunities. We stay connected to the communities we serve, through a network of county-based and community-based offices and through public forums.
The road to success lies in us working together with the persons we serve. We share that mission with the thousands of Arkansas who envision a healthy future for themselves. At CADC, there are no boundaries for success.

Central Arkansas Development Council is offering
